I have a small collection of iconic Moto Guzzi composed of a
1974 V7 Sport 750
(
here for sale at $19.9K
), a
1974 Eldorado 850 LAPD
, a
1973 Eldorado Police “California” version
that will be put on sale for
$20K each
at a later date.
The V7 Sport was first introduced at Milan’s Show in 1971 and was based on the V7 roadster but with a new frame and clip on handlebars. The motorcycle was developed to successfully compete at the Monza high speed track. This is the main reason behind a long wheel base that also provides a great stability; overall it handles very well both at speed and through the turns. Motrcycle Mechanic editor Charles Deane commentated in his 1972 article that the V7 was like a “BMW with a little bit extra”.
I acquired this bike in Florida in April 2016 as a project bike and restored it to current conditions. This is a great Guzzi to ride especially on open roads where you can take full advantage of its smoothness and stability. Bike is easy to drive, and you feel very comfortable riding it at speed and in traffic. In a nutshell it has a nice and smooth engine, easy to handle and fun to ride! It’s a true classic that turns heads at every corner and a joy to admire in the garage.
Always garaged with AC. A fairly new battery and bike was serviced recently. Drum brakes work well and have been checked during the routine maintenance. Title is clear, no liens and it’s under my name. Sold as-is conditions.
Requesting $1,000 PayPal deposit within 48 hours from purchase, and final payment can be made by wire transfer.
I will personally assist in delivering bike to a transport company of your choice or to you in case of pick-up.
Other Items for Sale
:
If you’re interested in any of the other 2 bikes before they go to auction let me know... again the price is $20,000 each.
The Eldorado Police (in 2017) and the California (in 2019) won the prestigious Boca Raton Concourse d'Elegance - Post War European Class.
Also available for sale a nice English Green 1966 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Jr. in original conditions. Asking is $40,000.00 - Message for further information.
To avoid any misunderstanding, the $19,900.00 BUY NOW is just for the V7 Sport.
Thanks for looking!
